Update - 6/24/2020

Per the governor's guidelines,

FACE MASKS ARE REQUIRED TO ENTER THE FACILITY

The rink must remain closed to the general public. However, we are permitted to open for hockey camp activities and figure skating. Our Pro Shop will also be open during this time. As we reopen our facility, we remain committed to the safety and well-being of our employees and patrons as well as following all guidelines set forth by the CDC, the state of North Carolina and New Hanover County. Please read the following measures we will be taking to protect everyone entering the facility:

Anyone experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough, shortness of breath) is required to stay home.

We will be taking the temperature of everyone entering the facility.

FACE MASKS ARE REQUIRED TO ENTER THE FACILITY for anyone over the age of 10.

NO SPECTATORS WILL BE PERMITTED. Parents/guardians may only accompany their child into the facility to assist them with getting on equipment or tying skates. Parents/guardians will NOT be permitted to remain in the facility for the duration of an event. We recommend anyone participating in a hockey event come pre-dressed in as much equipment as possible (ie: everything but helmet, gloves and skates) to limit their time in the facility.

Patrons will not be allowed into the facility until 30 minutes prior to the start of an event and must clear out of the facility within 15 minutes of the end of an event.

Showers will remain closed at this time.

Please bring water bottles from home already filled and do not share water bottles.

We will be opening all four locker rooms when possible to allow for more social distancing.

Locker rooms will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after each use.

Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the facility.

Restrooms will be cleaned and sanitized at least once per hour.

Employees will be required to wear masks at all times and wash or sanitize their hands regularly. They will have their temperature taken prior to clocking in. Any employee experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 will be required to stay home.

As the situation continues to evolve, we may need to update these measures.

Stick & Puck Guidelines - Now offering sessions for all ages

We will be offering a few options for Stick & Puck. These sessions will be $10/each for one hour of ice. If you have a Stick & Puck punch card ($90 for 10 punches), you may use your card for these sessions. Anyone wishing to sign up for one of these sessions MUST register in advance online. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY WALK-ONS! We will be limiting each session to 20 skaters and 3 goalies. Goalies will NOT be free; they will be required to register in advance and pay the $10 fee. You will receive a confirmation email once the online registration has been processed (please note, the email may not come right away as we will have to manually process the registration). Your card will not be charged if you have not met the cutoff. To register online, visit https://fs22.formsite.com/rinkwayne/form1/index.html and select “Code 51 Stick & Puck $10”. In the “Notes/Comments” section, please specify which date/time you are registering for and if you or your child is a skater or goalie. If you will be using a punch card, please put that in the notes section as well or your credit card will be charged. Please do not arrive more than 30 minutes early as we need time in between events to clean/sanitize the locker rooms. Everyone must exit the locker room within 15 minutes of the end of the event.
