YOUTH HOCKEY .

  

 

WELCOME!  We couldn't be more delighted to have you interested in our Youth Hockey Program!  The Coaching Staff is looking forward to skating with you! The program will focus on developing and fine-tuning your ice hockey skills, learning more about the fundamentals of the game we love and above everything else - having FUN! 

Check out the programs we offer:

Snow Plow Sam - Class is specially designed for children ages 3 - 5 yrs.
Please NOTE: All children must be at least 3 yrs. old by the start date of each class session.
Please NOTE: All skaters must wear rental skates (hockey skates will be used in higher level classes)

Level One - Children learn how to have fun on the ice and be independent on the ice.
Skills include: Standing on the ice, Marching in place, Marching across the ice, Safe Falling, Getting back up after a fall (all by your self!).

Level Two and Level Three - For young skaters who have passed Snow Plow Sam Level One class.
Children will gain more confidence on the ice, more speed, better control on the ice.
The class is for our advanced pre-school skaters!

All Snow Plow Sam classes meet on Monday evenings.
Rental Skates are included & 7 Free public skate passes.

Basic Skills:   Monday Evening Classes begin at 5:45pm
Classes to learn the fundamentals of skating without a stick or puck first.

Level 1 - Monday night Skate School will teach the basic skills needed for every beginning skater. Ages 6 & above.
Once you pass Level 1 move on to Level 2 - Basic Skill Class.

Level 2 - Continue in Skate School class to learn more advanced skills and improve your speed, control and confidence on the ice.
One you pass Level 2 move on to Beginners Hockey on Saturday mornings.

Youth League Hockey (Levels listed below):

Welcome to the wonderful world of hockey!  This is league hockey with coaches and referees.
The program focuses on developing your child’s ice hockey skills, learning more about the fundamentals of the game we love, and above everything else - having FUN!

Games are Wednesday Nights, Practice are Saturday Mornings.

League Structure:
Squirts | Ages 10 and under — No Checking
Pee Wees | Ages 12 and under — Checking
Bantam/Midgets | Ages 17 and under — Checking
